U.S. Congresswoman Lauren Boebert introduced a resolution in the House of Representatives condemning recent acts of domestic terrorism targeting Tesla vehicles and dealerships. This introduction follows a series of attacks that have reportedly been carried out across the United States and Canada, allegedly in response to President Donald Trump's appointment of Elon Musk as the head of the Department of Government Efficiency.

The resolution has received co-sponsorship from several other members of Congress, including Representatives Andy Biggs, Byron Donalds, Brandon Gill, Anna Paulina Luna, Nancy Mace, Barry Moore, Troy Nehls, Andy Ogles, and Greg Steube.

"The definition of terrorism is the unlawful use of violence and intimidation in the pursuit of political aims," said Rep. Boebert. "That is exactly what has been going on across the country at Tesla dealerships, and it is what innocent Americans who chose Tesla as their preferred vehicle are facing in the wake of violence from Radical Left-Wing domestic terrorists who hate President Donald Trump and Elon Musk."

Rep. Boebert highlighted the intent behind her resolution, stating, "My House Resolution will make clear where all Members of Congress stand: do they condemn domestic terrorism against Tesla, or do they endorse it completely? The American people deserve to know where their representatives stand when it comes to condemning domestic terrorism."

Boebert's remarks appear to align with reports of several anti-Tesla incidents in at least nine U.S. states and Canada, involving acts of arson, gunfire, and vandalism. Specific incidents include attacks such as Molotov cocktail bombings and politically charged vandalism at Tesla-related locations. These events have heightened concerns about safety for Tesla owners and employees, with acts of violence recorded in places like Loveland, Colorado, and North Charleston, South Carolina.

The issue remains under continuous observation, with Rep. Boebert's resolution aiming to draw a line of condemnation against such acts within the government.
