Each spring, the U.S. House of Representatives hosts the Congressional Art Competition, allowing student artists nationwide to showcase their talent. Congresswoman Boebert has announced that students in Colorado’s Fourth District can now participate in the 2025 edition. The competition is open to students from ninth to twelfth grades. It welcomes participants from various educational backgrounds, including public, private, homeschool, charter schools, and those in Colorado's school choice programs.
Entries must be submitted to the Fourth District Regional offices in Eaton or Castle Rock by April 25, 2025. Winning artwork from each district will be displayed at the U.S. Capitol for a year. Additionally, Congresswoman Boebert’s office will display three Honorable Mention winners in her Colorado District offices in Eaton and Castle Rock.
The artwork is required to be original, two-dimensional, and adhere to specific size and weight limitations. Allowed mediums include paintings, drawings, collages, prints, mixed media, computer-generated art, and photographs. Entries must be original and not infringe on U.S. copyright laws.
Winners will be announced in May. For further information or assistance, students can reach out to Jasmine at 970-702-4487, or check the designated forms and rules provided by Congresswoman Boebert’s office.
Congresswoman Boebert plays a prominent role in this initiative, which aids in maintaining connections with her constituents across one of the largest geographic districts in the nation. Those interested in participating should contact her office to arrange the submission of their entries.
