Census Bureau: 74.4% of people in Prowers County were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 11,966 citizens living in Prowers County in 2021, 74.4% were old enough to vote, equating to 8,901 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 4,475 were male, constituting 50.3%, and 4,426 were female, making up 49.7%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Prowers County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 77.9%.
