City of Canon issued the following announcement on Dec. 18.
Sanitary Main Replacement on North Orchard between Cherry Street and Pear Street.
Sanitary Main replacement work by Fremont Sanitation District will continue through January 31, 2020. North Orchard Ave. between Florence Ave. and Pear St. will be closed to through traffic. The street is open to local traffic. Crews will not actively work again until January 4, 2021, on the sanitary line.
Crews will attempt to complete all work in a way that minimizes disruption within all means possible.
