City of Canon recently issued the following announcement.

The City of Cañon City is collaborating with Twin Enviro for a Dumpster Cleanup Program.
The Dumpster Cleanup Program will be comprised of placing dumpsters in three separate locations throughout the city on Friday, October 9th and Friday, October 23rd. Code Enforcement has focused the placement of the dumpsters in areas in the city where litter and junkyard violations have been noticed. The Dumpster Cleanup Program will begin at 8 a.m. and end the same day around 3 p.m. or when dumpsters are full.

Restrictions: • Tires • Electronics (examples: TVs and computers) • Hazardous Materials (examples: paints, weed killer, Freon) • Large appliances (examples: washer, dryer, freezer, refrigerator)
