The Pueblo Polar Plunge is marking its 10th anniversary at Lake Pueblo, with organizers anticipating a large turnout. Since the event began in 2016, it has grown in popularity, and this year more than 100 participants have already signed up to jump into the cold waters of Lake Pueblo. The event aims to raise support for Special Olympics Colorado athletes.

“Freezin for a Reason!” is the motto for the plunge, which encourages community members to participate or donate to help fund athletic programs and opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Organizers hope that this milestone year will draw even more attention and contributions.

The Pueblo Polar Plunge continues its tradition as a community-driven fundraiser dedicated to supporting local Special Olympics athletes through both participation and donations.
