Baca County residents are being informed that property tax notices have not yet been released. The Treasurer’s Office explained that the delay is due to ongoing adjustments in school district tax levies, which have been mandated by the State. Computer programmers are currently working to implement these changes.

The office stated, “Thank you for your patience as Baca County property tax notices are not yet available. The computer programmers are working through tax levy adjustments for school districts that have been mandated by the State. Our team is working as quickly as possible to finalize and release the statements. Please note that the online link to view tax bills will not be functioning until notices are officially issued. If you have questions in the meantime, please contact the Treasurer’s Office at 719-523-4262.”

Residents should be aware that they will not be able to access their tax bills online until all statements have been finalized and released.
