Former Pueblo South High School standout Justin Arellano and the Adams State Grizzlies dropped a 13-9 decision to the Colorado Christian Cougars in their NCAA Division II baseball meeting at 3 p.m. Friday, March 13.

Adams State hosted the Cougars at ASU Baseball Field in their initial contest of the season between the teams.

Arellano pitched 0.2 innings, allowing four earned runs and issuing one walk.

The Grizzlies are set to play their next game at 12 p.m. Saturday, March 14, again hosting the Colorado Christian Cougars at ASU Baseball Field.
